I've built websites professionally for seven years — working across e-commerce, professional services, and home services before focusing exclusively on NGOs and nonprofits. That specialisation is deliberate. NGO websites fail in ways standard web consultancy doesn't address: governance documents buried or missing, stakeholder journeys that don't hold up under funder scrutiny, accessibility failures that create regulatory exposure, and content workflows that overload the one person responsible for all of it. The work I do is not about design preferences or marketing strategy. It is about building websites that can withstand attention — from major donors, institutional funders, regulators, and the public — particularly during leadership transitions, funding growth, or periods of increased accountability. Every engagement begins with a Blueprint Audit: a structured diagnostic that maps stakeholder priorities, identifies technical and governance failures, and produces a Board-ready report with specific findings and recommendations. The audit costs £2,500 and stands alone — there is no obligation to proceed, and the report is yours regardless of what comes next. Organisations that do proceed typically move to a Monthly Partnership: a rolling subscription covering all Webflow design and development work, with a 2–4 day turnaround on tasks. I work independently rather than through an agency because this work requires continuity, direct judgment, and genuine accountability — things agency structures make difficult.
